Genevieve & Mehmet’s Queen Mary Wedding
Mehmet and Genevieve’s wedding weekend was anything but ordinary—set aboard the iconic (and famously haunted) Queen Mary ship in Long Beach, California, their celebration mixed vintage glamour, ghost tours, and nonstop live music. With Lucky Devils Band performing and Lucky Devils Creative behind the cameras, this wedding was a total experience from start to finish.
Day One: Ghosts & Golden Hour
The festivities began on October 18th with a private ghost tour for the couple’s guests—a perfectly spooky start aboard one of the most legendary haunted locations in California. As the sun set, guests were treated to an intimate dinner followed by a cocktail party on the ship’s deck, where our team captured some photos.
Day Two: The Ceremony
October 19th was the main event—and it didn’t disappoint. Genevieve and Mehmet kicked off the day with getting-ready moments and portraits around the Queen Mary’s historic decks. Guests arrived at 4:00pm and gathered for a stunning 4:30pm ceremony. The setting? Romantic and rich with maritime history, perfectly reflecting the couple’s unique style.
Following the ceremony, cocktail hour set the tone for the evening with laughter, drinks, and a breathtaking backdrop. While guests mingled, the couple snuck away for sunset portraits and romantic shots, expertly captured by our Lucky Devils Creative photo and video team.
Reception: Dinner & Dancing Aboard the Queen Mary
Dinner began at 7:00pm and was followed by a party worthy of the ship’s legacy. Lucky Devils Band took the stage and brought the energy—transforming the elegant space into a full-on dance celebration. Guests packed the floor, and from the first song to the final note, it was a night of movement, emotion, and unforgettable music.
Whether it was a sultry slow dance under vintage chandeliers or a dance-off near the bar, every moment felt cinematic—thanks to a seamless collaboration between the band and our creative team on photo and video.
